The Iraq Dinar. A very interesting scam?

Several months ago i was talked into getting some Iraq Dinar as an investment. Now I find it a fascinating concept. A countries currency crashed due to being invaded and occupied by another. Makes sense. This is typically what happens. The new government prints new money with the blessing of the invading power to restart the economy of the country. So far this sounds reasonable. Then it gets interesting. The currency becomes available to the rest of the world at a really low rate. Currently .00085 cents per Dinar. Then you hold it and eventually the occupying forces will leave. Allowing the government to revalue its currency. Thus making the individuals that purchased the currency a very substantial profit over time.

So you might be saying, sounds reasonable to me. Well we will see. The problem I am having at the moment is it reminds me of a really bad investment/scam for this reason. Every day I get an email telling me that it will revalue some time today. Well make that next week. How about Wednesday so we can avoid a holiday at the end of the week. Then it will happen after the holiday and so on and so forth. So we will see if and when the Iraq Dinar proves itself as a scam or a really wise investment.
