In working on personal marketing. I always have wondered if not making the decision will ultimately make the decision for you. Today I found the answer.
You never know when you will learn something and from whom you will learn it from I walked into 5 Guys Burgers and Fries for lunch yesterday. Ordered my usual. No big deal right. Normal day. Out to eat with my sweetheart. “yes this is also my wife” and our kids. As I was rounding the corner looking for a seat I ran into an old coworker of mine from about three years ago. He was a Supervisor and a really great outgoing guy. We did the usual hi how are stuff and I asked about how he was liking thing there. He made a comment that didn’t sink in until later that night. He told me “if things ever picked up in my life I would really like to make a change.” I didn’t think much about the comment. After catching up on a few more things and talking about a few more of the people that I knew and I went on to lunch. Later last night I was thinking about how after all of this time how mentaly stuck he was. When I left three years ago when I left that company for another opportunity. He told me almost the same thing word for word. This blew my mind. I realized that the great truth. Not making a desision will ultimately make it for you. He had made a choice by not making a choice.
