Why get involved with an MLM?
Why get involved with an MLM? This is a question that has been up for debate for many years. I understand the viewpoint of many people that all you are doing is harrassing friends and family to do something they didn’t want to do in the first place. But is that always true? In my case I was looking for an opportunity when I first became aquainted with MLM’s. I was newly married with my first child on the way and I wanted to be in business for myself but was really not sure if I wanted to be in business by myself. Although I did what most people do when they are first exposed to an MLM I quit the first week and swore I would never have anything to deal with a business like that again. My sponser was pushy very obnoxious and rude to both my friends and family. This I learned was how he was trained by the upline. I think the straw for us was the day that we were in his livng room and his fourteen year old son came rushing in and interupted a casual conversation we were having. My sponser went balistic berating him for intruping our meeting. Once he was done and seeing the pleading panic on his sons face. His son finally got a word in edgewise and informed us his younger brother had set fire to the garage while playing with fireworks. Yes the house was currently on fire we were in it and as we rushed out to put the fire out. He was still berating his son for interupting us. Now after that I quit. Suprise Suprise. I bought a conventional business and sold it after two years. Here I was looking again for something. Interstingly enough everyone who told me no had something to show me after I had sold my business. So I began reaserching the MLM industry and learned that it isn’t all bad, Yes there are scams and outright pyrimids. Most however are legitimate companies and its not company but the people you are involved with that matter. I began searching for the type of people I was looking for . Honest, straightforward, and willing to help. It took awhile but I found them. Now I am involved in a MLM that I have no problem talking to friends and family about. My upline is supportive and not pushy. I have also found a mentor. Mentorship is probably the best reason to get involved with an MLM. Thanks to my Mentor. I have eliminated hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of business debt without Bankrupsy and have created a financial foundation for my family. Most importantly I have really enjoyed all of the many people I have been able to meet thru the years and make great memories with. I know it sounds sentimental but its true. I will post later about some of these individuals. Why MLM? Becase its worth it.
